Travel Plan

Day 1: Sossusvlei

Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Windhoek at 8h00. We drive south through Auas and Khomas Hoch land Mountain. We aim to arrive at our lodge late afternoon. Overnight stay at Desert Camp with dinner.

Day 2: Sossusvlei Area

Up early morning and head to Sesriem the entry point into Sossusvlei to catch the soft light of the sunrise on the desert. This is the best time to experience the spectacular landscape of the dune field, with its clear blue sky, and the blazing apricot color, which create a powerful contrast across the entire Desert. Once you have explored Sossusvlei and Deadvlei surrounding, you then go to Sesriem canyon a nearby geological site before returning to our lodge in the afternoon. Overnight stay at Desert Camp on dinner and breakfast basis.

Day 3: Windhoek

After a delicious breakfast, we are back on the road to Windhoek arriving in the afternoon, and the rest of the day will be at leisure. Overnight stay at Utopia Boutique on breakfast basis..

Day 4: Etosha National Park

Pick up time from your accommodation in Windhoek is at 09h00. Depart to Etosha National Park famous for its wildlife capabilities and floodlit waterholes. After dinner, you still have time to visit the floodlit waterhole to witness a late night animals politic. Overnight stay at Okaukuejo rest camp inside the park on dinner and breakfast basis.

Day 5: Etosha National Park

Full day of game drive inside the Etosha National Park visiting numerous waterholes that attract a large diversity of wildlife and bird species. During the dry season, we may also make a detour visit to the great ‘Etosha Pan’ a shallow chalky-white cracked mud, shimmering with mirages and upward- spiralling dust in winter. It was once a large inland lake fed by rivers from the north and east and dried up 120 million years ago. Overnight stay at Halali rest camp inside the park on dinner and breakfast basis.

Day 6: Departure, Windhoek

After a delicious breakfast, we game drive throughout the park back to Windhoek. Prepare for a long drive although there will be few stop at some towns throughout the way. We aim to arrive late afternoon. End of tour. Farwell and Cheers!
